ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the resistance to antibacterial drugs in Mycoplasma pneumoniae (Mp) isolated from the chil-dren with community acquired pneumonia (CAP) in Shiyan area .Methods A total of 426 throat swabs and serum samples were collected from children patients with suspected CAP in Shiyan area from Feb .2013 to Apr .2015 .The throat swabs were used to culture Mp .The serum Mp-IgM was detected by ELISA ,the positive samples were confirmed by plate culture method ,meanwhile , the drug sensitivity test was taken .Results Among 426 children cases ,69 cases were confirmed as Mp infection ;the drug suscepti-bility test results showed that the resistance rate of Mp was 76 .8(53/69) to erythromycin ,65 .2% (45/69) to azithromycin ,18 .8%(13/69) to levofloxacin ,4 .3% (3/69) to tetracycline ,4 .3% (3/69) to minocycline and 24 .6% (17/69) to gentamicin .Conclusion Mp is one of the key pathogens of CAP in Shiyan area ,which is severely resistant to macrolide .The treatment should choose sensi-tive drugs as the treatment drug ,but it is important to consider the toxicity and adverse reactions of these several kinds of drugs to children .The blind medication should be avoided .

ABSTRACT

Objective To understand the cognition of patients with anxiety disorder and their inner experience and disease, and provide reference and basis for making more perfect health education. Methods A group of 38 patients with hospitalized anxiety were interviewed by collective focus interview. The interview was conducted by using the team skill training model to create a pleasant atmosphere. Results Five subjects of periods were identified, including the denial period of disease, the period of inner pain, the period of worrying about side effects of drugs, and the expectation period of disease cure. Conclusions The lack of awareness of disease and the desire for disease-related knowledge are very urgent. Through this study, we understand the psychological characteristics and needs of some patients with anxiety, and explore a set of patients who are suitable for anxiety of the mission model to provide some reference.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the expression of FLT3 on the cells from acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML)and its clinical signficance. Methods The expression of FLT3 from 80 AML cases was measured by FISH.All cases were indentified by karyotyping,40 cases were normal karyotye, and the other 40 cases were abnormal. Results The FLT3 expression level was different in different AML cases. The expression rate in normal karyotype cases was 5.0%,but in abnormal cases 30.7%,in refractory relapse cases 43.3%,in continual complete remission cases 4.5%.The patients’DFS (Disease-Free survival)and OS (overall survival)without FLT3 expression were 65% and 86% in 24 months’following investigation, but the patients’ DFS and OS with FLT3 expression were 20% and 40% respectively. The difference was distinct between them(P<0.05). Conclusion FLT3 can be thought as a new marker for worse prognosis of AML patients, and its expression level is associat-ed with maglignacy-grade.

ABSTRACT

Calreticulin (CRT) participates in the progression and apoptosis of many kinds of tumor cells. Recent studies indicate expression of CRT on tumor cells acts as an "eat me" signal for dendritic cells, allowing them to phagocytose tumor cells. It can induce immunogenic tumor cell death by adsorbing recombinant calreticulin to tumor cells or by enforcing the translocation of endogenous calreticulin to the cell surface. In animal experiments,CRT related tumor vaccine has good therapeutic effects in some tumor bearing mice, which can be used in tumor immunotherapy and targeted therapy.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVETo investigate the pathogenesis of thromboembolism in patients with mitral stenosis in a pre-thrombotic state.

METHODSThe biochemical markers' levels in plasma for platelet activity [soluble P-selectin (GMP-140)], states of thrombin generation [antithrombin III (AT III) and protein C (PC)], fibrinolysis [D-dimer (DD), plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 (PAI-1), tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA) and FDP] and von Willebrand factor (vWF) were determined from blood specimens obtained from the femoral veins and arteries and the right and left atria of 43 consecutive patients (20 with atrial fibrillation and 23 with sinus rhythm) with mitral stenosis (MS), undergoing percutaneous mitral valvuloplasty. The same parameters were compared with those of 15 control subjects, who had no detectable heart disease, but with paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia undergoing radiofrequency catheter ablation of the left accessory pathway through a transseptal passage.

RESULTSBlood from the left atrium contained an excessive amount of platelet activity, thrombin generation and fibrinolysis compared with the blood from the right atrium, and the femoral veins and arteries. However blood from the right atrium was much lower in these activities when compared with those from the left atrium, and the femoral veins and arteries in both groups. Compared with those in the control subjects, GMP-140 in the left atrium was significantly higher (P < 0.05) and AT III was significantly lower (P < 0.05) in patients with MS. Compared with the patients with MS and spontaneous left atrial echocontrast (LASEC) </= 1, the patients with MS and LASEC >/= 2 had significantly higher levels of GMP-140 in plasma (P < 0.05), and significantly lower levels of AT III (P < 0.05) and PC (P < 0.01) levels in the left atrium. However, there were no significant differences between patients with atrial fibrillation and those with sinus rhythm regarding amounts of plasma coagulation markers in the left atrium. Univariate regression analysis revealed that LASEC was negatively correlated with plasma levels of blood from the left atria in the patients with MS.

CONCLUSIONCoagulability is increased in the left atria of patients with MS and is positively correlated with LASEC.

ABSTRACT

Objective To disclose the influence of PTEN on the migration of breast cancer cells ZR-75-1. Methods Wild-type PTEN gene was transtected into ZR-75-1 breast cancer cells which lack PTEN gene, tranfected cells were selected by puromycin and the protein encoded by PTEN gene was tested by Western-blot. The inhibition rate of invasion and adhesion of ZR-75-1 was tested on reconstituted basement membrane. Results Wild-type PTEN gene was successfully transfected into ZR-75-1 and expressed efficiently. The inhibition rate of invasion and adhesion is 70.4 % and 60.0 % respectively. Conclusion PTEN gene can restrict the migration of breast cancer cells in some degree, so whether PTEN gene is deleted or not can partly estimates the risk of migration of breast cancer cells.
